Multistate professional responsibility exam
The Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination (MPRE) is a 60-question multiple-choice exam that is administered over a 2 hour 5 minute period, three times each year. The National Conference of Bar Examiners (NCBEX) is the governing body responsible for the exam.
The MPRE is required for admission to the bars of all U.S. jurisdictions except for Maryland, Washington, Wisconsin, and Puerto Rico.
