About the Multistate bar examination (MBE)
The MBE (Multistate Bar Exam) is a 200 question multiple choice exam that is divided into two sessions of three hours each (6 total hours). One-hundred questions are administered during each session.
Of the 200 questions administered for the MBE, only 190 of them are used for grading purposes, the remaining 10 are experimental questions. The MBE covers six topics:
1) CONTRACTS; (33 questions on exam)
2) TORTS; (33 questions on exam)
3) CONSTITUTIONAL LAW; (31 questions on exam)
4) CRIMINAL LAW & PROCEDURE; (31 questions on exam)
5) EVIDENCE; (31 questions on exam) and
6) REAL PROPERTY. (31 questions on exam)
